November 7, 2019 Update

Greetings from our team at Oceanwide Center!

On Oct 15, 2019, Oceanwide Center LLC announced that work on the Mission Street tower will suspend until further notice; however, work continues on the First Street tower without interruption. The First Street tower comprises of 1.05 million-square-feet of office and 109 residential condos. It is slated to reach 910 feet and become the second tallest in San Francisco after Salesforce Tower. Since the Oct 15 announcement, the First Street tower work has reached the important milestone of completing the basement structural mat foundation.

Despite the planned suspension, the Mission Street tower footprint remains a construction site, and continues to be actively managed by our construction team. All safety measures remain in place to ensure public safety around the jobsite.

In other project news, The SFPUC will be adding a new fire hydrant on the Jessie Street at Anthony Street later this month. This work will be done by Mitchell Engineering in the evenings starting on November 18th.

Your cooperation will help this project become a success for your neighborhood and the City of San Francisco. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
